Mistake to Avoid When You Are Struggling With Something or Feeling Stuck

What if the thing you are struggling with or feeling stuck with could be the gateway to change your life for the better?

Life, work, careers, business and any other aspect of life you can think of, don’t always go the way you want.

Sometimes it can feel like a struggle. Sometimes you feel stuck.

How you respond to that, will heavily influence what happens next and, ultimately, your outcome.

That is why it is important to choose wisely how you respond when you feel like you are struggling or feeling stuck.

Many people retreat from struggle or try to avoid it altogether. I get it. It feels uncomfortable. And we tend to want to avoid or retreat from uncomfortable situations. But that is a mistake. Here's why:

What you avoid or retreat from persists. And that keeps you stuck and in struggle mode.

Instead of retreating or avoiding what you are struggling with, progress can be made by identifying just the first step to move forward. It is common to think you need to have it all figured out before you act. Not true. The path forward when you feel stuck or are struggling with something is figured out step by step. Clarity and solutions are created by getting into action.

There may be some situations when it is possible to map a whole plan out to resolve what you are dealing with from the get-go, but more often than not, when we are struggling or feeling stuck, breaking out of that happens step by step. Each step will move you closer to making progress and finding solutions. It's how the toughest mountains are conquered - one step at a time.

The bottom line:

The solution, change, transformation, or outcome that you want, is on the other side of what you are struggling with or feeling stuck with. And that is why stepping into the discomfort of it all can be the gateway to progress and resolution.
