In the previous two posts we focussed on clearing the decks and putting some strong foundations in place. Now it is time to get into action.

Why are strong foundations important?
If a builder didn’t put strong foundations in place, what he is building is likely to fall down and not be fit for purpose. The same is true for creating success in your business, lifestyle or family life – the stronger the foundations, the better results you will get.
In the previous post Is your Business a Vampire? we talked about how many small business owners feel that their business is sucking the life out of them and they aren’t getting the results or success they want, professionally or personally. In this five part series we are going to start taking actions to turn that around.

Change is essential – period! The world outside you and your business is constantly changing. Ways of doing business, competition and connecting with clients are constantly changing. The list could go on and on but the point is, if you don’t have a change management strategy you are becoming less relevant in the marketplace. Not good.
Creating change to achieve business goals and results is an essential part of the business success process. Yet a lot of small business owners seem to struggle with making change that delivers consistent business results.
If you have read the two previous posts in this series, you will probably have worked out that I am not a big fan of the phrase work life balance. Nor am I a fan of using it as a focus for creating business success and lifestyle freedom.
